The First & Second XV’s are fielding strong teams this year, as well as retaining the vast majority of last year’s playing squad, we have reaped the rewards of LIT Tipperary’ popular Sports Course and player’s moving to the town for work from all parts of the Country including, Limerick, Sligo and Belfast to name a few but most importantly we have seen a handful of last year’s U18 squad slot seamlessly into the squad to take the next challenge of their rugby career.

Thurles RFC are always keen to recruit new players or welcome back players who have fallen by the wayside. Training for the First & Seconds takes place every Wednesday and Friday with players on the pitch and ready to go for 7:30. New players are always welcome
